The Outdoor Adventure Expo Newspaper is Midwest Mountaineering's most effective advertising tool. Customer surveys indicate that over 60% of attendees learn about and plan to attend the Expo based on information they receive in the Expo Newspaper.
Midwest Mountaineering publishes and direct mails over 20,000 Expo Newspapers to customers near us and to all 58,000 customers we e-mail the digital version.
The Expo newspaper is an 11" x 17" tabloid printed in color on newsprint, 32 to 36 pages long and contains complete information about clinics, speakers, demos and special product offers. The entire newspaper also appears on the Expo website. Exhibitors and vendors should take advantage of our most effective marketing tool.

By advertising in the newspaper, you pre-sell your products and services to attendees and alert potential customers to your presence at the Expo. Advertisers purchasing 1/4 page ads (newspaper format) or larger are entitled to upgrade to full sponsorship benefits for a modest additional cost. Mark Erickson is the Expo newspaper producer / designer. The newspaper is designed using Quark Express on a PC. Don't have an ad to submit? Advertising design work may be done by Midwest Mountaineering. The rate is $45.00 per hour.
